Embedding Ethics in Business: A Three-Part Webinar Series on Decision-Making, Leadership, and Organisational Culture

Our three-part webinar series explores the critical role of ethics in business performance through three lenses: effective decision-making, leadership, and organisational culture.

Each session is led by FTI experts who share practical insights and tools to help leaders and organisations understand and better embed ethics in their day-to-day business practices and behaviours.

This webinar series is designed for leaders and professionals seeking to enhance their understanding of how ethics can shape sustainable, responsible business outcomes. Each session includes real-world case studies and practical actionable insights. Across three 60-minute sessions, FTI covered the following topics:

Session 1 – The Ethics Imperative: Ethics as a Driver of Business Success

Wendy Dobson

Senior Managing Director
FTI Consulting

5 February 2025 | 14:00-15:00

In this session, Dr Wendy Dobson explored the business case for ethics and the impact of ethics failures.  She explored what we really mean when we talk about ethics, navigating ethics dilemmas, and four pillars of ethical conduct.

This engaging webinar covered research on stakeholder perceptions about business ethics and the warning signs of an impending ethical crisis in your firm.

Session 2: From Principles to Practice: Driving Ethical Decision-Making in Your Organisation

Leslie Benson

Senior Adviser
FTI Consulting

In this session, Leslie Benson will unpack the cognitive and behavioural skillset leaders need to apply in building and enhancing their ethical performance. He’ll address how best to develop ethical muscle – and what that means in terms of personal, team and organisational leadership.

You’ll have an opportunity to see examples of how to train, coach and curate ethical leadership – what works well, and what critical components underpin sustainable improvements in ethical leadership behaviour.

Session 3: Building an Ethical Culture: Empowering Your People to Do the Right Thing

Lucy Delaney

Managing Director
FTI Consulting

In this session, Lucy Delaney explored how a healthy risk and ethics culture isn’t just about doing what’s right—it’s a powerful driver of performance, engagement, and reputation. She examined the foundational architecture of healthy ethics cultures and discussed how leadership, values, and employee engagement can cultivate an environment where individuals feel empowered and are held accountable for their actions and decisions.

Through case studies, she highlighted companies that have successfully transformed their culture to prioritise ethics and responsible business practices.
