Senior Tech Advisor William Parker Joins FTI Consulting’s Brussels Public Affairs Practice

Brussels, 4 May 2020 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced that William Parker, a senior government affairs advisor in technology and digital issues, has joined the Strategic Communications segment as a Managing Director in the Brussels office.

Mr Parker will advise clients on a range of digital and technology issues, drawing on his background of working in EU and national public affairs. Most recently, Mr Parker was Senior Director, Government Affairs for the EMEA region at Dell Technologies.

Mr Parker brings deep experience with policy making and sustainability issues within the technology sector. He has provided executive-level counsel and has strong experience implementing public affairs and government campaigns at the EU and national level.

Before joining Dell Technologies, Mr Parker worked in public affairs consulting in Brussels.

Mr Parker will work closely with FTI Consulting’s international network of technology, media and telecoms (“TMT”) public affairs advisors, as well as the broader Brussels-based team. Mr Parker will join as a senior member of the Brussels TMT team.

“William not only brings deep policy knowledge on a range of issues, but also invaluable insights having worked in a global technology company for several years. Whether it’s an EU, a Europe-wide or a global challenge that a company is facing, FTI Consulting has the experts to help companies navigate these issues”, said Hans Hack, a Senior Managing Director and Head of the Brussels office in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. “William’s hire comes on the back of a strong year for FTI Consulting, and we continue to build our business for the future, investing in the best people to advise our clients”.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Parker said, “I’m excited to join the FTI Consulting team in Brussels and its strong TMT offering. In the coming years, the EU will drive standards on tech policy that will have global reverberations. Digitisation is not a niche issue for companies anymore. It’s a great time to be joining the company where its teams across continents are focused on making sense of this and providing excellent advice to clients”.
