FTI Consulting Strengthens Financial Services Capabilities with Addition of Financial Comms and Reputation Management Expert Luke Shane
Washington, D.C., July 7, 2025 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Luke Shane as a Managing Director in the Financial Services practice within the firm’s Strategic Communications segment.
Mr. Shane, who is based in New York, brings nearly 15 years of experience helping global financial institutions during critical moments of disruption and transformation. In his role at FTI Consulting, he will focus on providing clients with communications strategies, issues management, media relations and reputation management while helping C-suite leaders and boards navigate evolving regulatory pressures, political and financial risks in complex operating environments in the United States and around the globe.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Shane was Head of Communications for New York Life Investments, the asset management arm of New York Life Insurance Company. Prior to that, he was the Global Head of Media Relations for Manulife, a top 10 global life insurer, and Manulife Investment Management, where he oversaw the development and execution of the organization’s internal and external communications teams and mandates. Before Manulife, Mr. Shane was a Vice President at BlackRock, supporting the iShares business through communications counsel related to the exchange-traded funds industry and BlackRock’s product lineup.
