FTI Consulting Enhances Healthcare & Life Sciences Communications Expertise with Senior Appointment

Nareg Sagherian Joins as Managing Director in Strategic Communications Segment, Bringing Extensive Financial Communications Experience in the Healthcare & Life Sciences Sector

Washington D.C., Aug. 6, 2020 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) announced today the appointment of Nareg Sagherian as a Managing Director within the Strategic Communications segment. Based in Washington, D.C., Mr. Sagherian will report to Charlene MacDonald, a Managing Director in the Company’s Healthcare & Life Sciences sector for Strategic Communications.

Mr. Sagherian will help healthcare and life sciences clients develop and execute communication programs related to mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, shareholder activism, and a range of capital market events and financial transactions. His expertise spans investor relations, capital raising communications, valuation analysis, reputation management, stakeholder engagement, crisis communications and coalition building.

Mr. Sagherian joins FTI Consulting following his position as Managing Director of Investor Relations and Programming at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (“BIO”), a global trade association representing the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Before BIO, Mr. Sagherian spent three years at the U.S. Small Business Administration, most recently serving as Chief Commercialization Strategist, playing an instrumental role in developing several key programs. He also served as an International Economist within the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, analyzing Eurasian economic, development, financial, trade, investment, and energy and environmental issues.

Mr. Sagherian is an MBA candidate at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He has a Graduate Diploma in Legislative Studies from the Government Affairs Institute at Georgetown University, a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the Wayne State University School of Medicine, and a Master of Science in Corporate Finance and a Graduate Diploma in Investments from the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
