Juan Rivera, Senior Managing Director, shares some insights from our report Building Effective Cybersecurity Governance highlighting the importance of approaching cybersecurity in a similar way as we do with sustainability or climate change. Different stakeholders (governments, regulators, and investors, to name a few) are aware of the costly risks that cybersecurity entails and are demanding lines of action in this sense. |
However, companies are still facing many challenges when it comes to cybersecurity governance. For instance, although the role of the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) has emerged, they are struggling to communicate with the leaders of the company and to align cybersecurity priorities to those of the leadership.
