FTI Consulting Strengthens Restructuring Communications Capabilities with Senior Appointment

Angelo Thalassinos Joins Strategic Communications as a Managing Director

Washington, D.C., May 5, 2020 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the appointment of Angelo Thalassinos as a Managing Director in its Strategic Communications segment. Mr. Thalassinos, a restructuring expert, will partner with cross-segment teams to develop and execute multi-stakeholder communications strategies that promote business continuity and maximize value for in- and out-of-court restructuring scenarios.

Based in New York, Mr. Thalassinos brings more than a decade of experience to the firm with a deep understanding of legal and financial data that influences stakeholder decisions across a wide range of industries. His background in the financial news and legal industries will help clients anticipate and mitigate risks to their businesses and stakeholder relationships.

The Restructuring Communications team at FTI Consulting counsels clients across the life cycle of a restructuring to maintain stakeholders’ confidence and promote business continuity in ways that support a successful emergence.

Most recently, Mr. Thalassinos spent six years at Reorg Research, Inc., where he led distressed debt and restructuring coverage in the Americas focusing on Chapter 11 bankruptcies and related state and federal litigation. Prior to Reorg Research, Mr. Thalassinos worked for Brown Rudnick LLP, where he specialized in complex corporate restructuring, special situations and insolvency matters.
