FTI Consulting Develops Crisis+ Offering and Boosts Capabilities with Senior Appointment in the Strategic Communications Segment in London

Kate Brader Joins the Segment as Managing Director, Bringing Extensive Experience in Crisis Management Supporting the Growth of the Firm’s New Comprehensive Crisis Management and Crisis Communications Offering

LONDON, 28 January 2021 – FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today launched its Crisis+ service offering supported by the appointment of Kate Brader as a Managing Director within the Strategic Communications segment, based in London.

FTI Consulting’s Crisis+ offering supports clients with their preparation for incidents through developing crisis management as a strategic and cross-functional capability and provides real-time guidance and implementation to respond and recover when crises hit, delivered by a dedicated team of crisis experts with communications at its core. Some of the key services include resilience reviews, a Crisis+ on-call service and a dedicated team for rapid deployment in the event of a live incident. The offering is integrated with and underpinned by FTI Consulting’s cross-firm expertise in areas including cybersecurity and data privacy, business transformation, mergers & acquisitions, and restructuring.

Ms. Brader, a crisis communications and crisis management specialist, brings deep expertise in managing high-profile live incidents, from cybersecurity attacks to physical health and safety events, or the impact of external issues such as the obesity epidemic. She has led reviews of global crisis management and business continuity management systems, as well as the development of crisis management functions, capabilities and culture. Previous to joining FTI Consulting, she developed and led the “Live Response” service offering and capability at Deloitte and the cross-functional responses to several high-profile cyber incidents.
