By Chris Broyles
Congratulations to all our runners, planners and participants from #TEAMFTI in Chicago for the running of the Race Judicata 5K on a beautiful September evening in Lincoln Park with 5000 other industry peers ranging from area law firms, judges and consulting firms to those who work and support free and affordable legal services for Chicagoans in need via Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. This was a great show of Corporate Citizenship and FTI giving back to the community it serves.
Thanks to our amazing cross-segment Strategic Communications, Corporate Finance and Forensic Litigation & Consulting team: Patrick Beeman, Kelly Meyer, Logan Williams, Vlad Torishnyak, David Novak, Deborah Stafford, Brent Miller, Martin Griffin, Michael Ungar, John Kluka, Bill Lane, Ryan Gooding, Zak VerSchure, Jake Lensing, Audrey O’Connor, Erin McGowan, Alissa Owen, Nirali Nahar, Carrie Distler, Nicole Wells and Jessica Roston. And special thanks to our “team manager” Taneisha Peralta for all of her invaluable pre-race help!
Reactions From Our Participants
“It was a great experience to join colleagues from other FTI segments and our legal community to support CVLS’ mission ‘to ensure that the law works for everyone.’ Plus, a perfect summer night for a run along Chicago’s Lakefront.”
– Deborah Stafford, Sr. Director, Business Development for FLC-Trial Services
“The Race Judicata event was awesome and I was just happy to be a part of it representing FTI. I think it is important for us as a firm to participate in these types of events and a great time overall.”
– Corporate Finances’s Michael Ungar, Consultant, Lender Services
Ryan Gooding, Consultant, Corporate Reputation, Strategic Communications, finished FIFTH overall this year (pictured above at the Start line in the red singlet and 1581) accomplishing his “top five” goal and bettering his 10th place finish in the 2017 Race Judicata. Way to go, Ryan! And kudos to FTI Chicago for continuing to find ways to succeed and serve both our clients and our city.
