Providing relevant and useful content for your target audience. Google and other search engines will prioritise websites based on how users interact with your content. Ranking first place in Google will receive nearly twice as much traffic as ranking second. Traffic levels decline the further you go down the page.
Concentrate on your keywords / key focus areas and create content relevant to your audience.
Remember to reuse and repurpose your content in as many ways as possible on relevant platforms to increase your message reach.
If you understand the topic you are promoting on the post, log into a free Google AdWords account and use the keyword planner to get ideas of similar phrases people search for. This can help vary the wording you use throughout the post while still staying on topic (and not looking like you are keyword-filling the page – something Google will penalise you for).
Everyone has heard the phrase “Content is King” and it is never more evident when it comes to improving your website’s search engine ranking. Creating useful and efficient content for your target audience will result in more website visitors and will improve your ranking on search engines, which will lead to more potential customers reaching your website. Improving a website’s SEO is not a quick fix but will have longer-term benefits too. Creating killer content that is compelling for your target audience will keep them returning to your site.
