Coveris, one of the world’s largest private packaging and coatings companies, retained FTI Consulting to help the company refine and strengthen its value proposition and competitive differentiators in the market, as well as how to effectively communicate organizational priorities. The company had been formed through the consolidation of five packaging and coatings businesses by a leading international private equity firm. As a result, brand equity was challenged by continued alignment with legacy businesses among key stakeholder groups, including customers, suppliers, employees and the investment community.

FTI Consulting conducted a thorough review of the company’s positioning content, completed a competitive landscape analysis, and developed primary messages educated by direct engagement with the executive management and global marketing communication teams. The content created by FTI Consulting was then used globally across multiple mediums, supported by teams in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and France.
FTI Consulting provided overarching corporate strategy to Coveris and in-market tactical implementation of communication initiatives aimed at increasing the Company’s position in a highly competitive market. This counsel and support has included content development, media relations, trade show support, employee engagement, transactions advisory, and stakeholder research.
